Roper Technologies acquires Sinmed Holding International

Roper Technologies acquired Sinmed Holding International, a transaction completed in April 2006, structured as Acquisition of 100% of the outstanding shares.

Sinmed Holding International operates in Scientific and Industrial Imaging, is based in Netherlands. Sinmed Holding International is a European maker of medical positioning equipment used to position and immobilize patients during radiation therapy and diagnostic imaging. Its products help clinicians achieve accurate, repeatable patient setup for treatment and imaging procedures. Roper acquired all of the company's outstanding shares and reported the operations within its imaging segment.

Adds patient positioning and immobilization products for radiation therapy and imaging to Roper's imaging platform, broadening its portfolio of niche medical technology used in diagnostic and treatment settings.
