DONALDSON Co INC acquires Medica S.p.A. (49% minority stake)

DONALDSON Co INC acquired Medica S.p.A. (49% minority stake) for approximately €62 million, a transaction completed in August 2024, structured as 49% minority equity stake (all-cash).

Medica S.p.A. (49% minority stake) operates in Life Sciences, is based in Italy. Medica S.p.A. is a Medolla, Italy-based leader in hollow fiber membrane filtration technology for medical device applications and water purification, with over 700 employees and roughly €80 million of 2023 revenue. Donaldson acquired a 49% minority ownership stake in the company to build out its Life Sciences business.

Supports Donaldson's strategy of building and expanding the capabilities of its Life Sciences business through hollow fiber membrane filtration technology.
