AMETEK acquired Abaco Systems for approximately $1.35 billion, a transaction completed in April 2021, structured as all cash.

Abaco Systems operates in EIG, had revenue of about approximately $325 million in annual sales. A leading provider of mission-critical embedded computing systems, specializing in open-architecture computing and electronic systems for aerospace, defense, and specialized industrial markets.
